- Serve at all levels of the fiscal operations from CFO to Account Payable and collaborate with all organization team members.
- Provide significant managerial support to the CEO and Executive Directors.
- Prepare and maintain the organization’s budget and Financial Statements and present it to the board of directors.
- Prepare and lead the annual audit process.
- Prepare and submit the 990 reports.
- Prepare and maintain Governmental and Private grants budgets, track the Budget to Actual on monthly basis and make the necessary modifications as needed.
- Produce the grants reports on monthly and quarterly, as well as the close out reports.
- Maintain all vendors and consultants’ relationships and process the payments on weekly basis after obtaining the proper approvals.
- Allocate all expenses across the different grants according to the proper cost allocation method (FTE, SQFT, Units)
- Reconcile the bank accounts, close the books and prepare the financial statements by the 10th of each month (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss total and by grant, Statement of Cash Flows, Cash Flows projection, Budget to Actual variance report, A/R and Cash-on-Hand KPI reports.)
- Process payroll on biweekly basis and perform basic HR services.
- Generate W-2, 1099 and 1096 reports at year end.
- Use all fiscal software and synchronize all systems together.
- Create or review the financial policies and procedures and raise any necessary recommendations.
- Train other team members on operations practices and system usage whenever needed.
- Offer managed IT services (Email, Networking, Cloud and Security).
